Festival UX Writer (contract role): Jul 2023 – Jan 2024 & Aug 2024 – Feb 2025
Wrote all the push notifications and email alerts for the Sundance Film Festival. Notifications were sent to an audience of 14K app users and earned a 6% CTR (2% higher than anticipated).
Collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, design, and marketing) to ensure accuracy and bring new and existing copy into alignment with brand voice and tone standards.
Wrote 100+ how-to articles, simplifying technical language into clean, compelling, and conversational copy that guided users on how to set up tech, order tickets, join waitlists, etc.
Worked with Chase, Adobe, Hulu, Netflix, and Acura stakeholders to ensure sponsored content was aligned with their business goals and effectively drove traffic to sponsored events.
Tracked app usage data (e.g. sign-ups and push notification CTRs) and used these findings to improve content strategy and copy.

Wrote 200+ screens of UX copy for 2 food delivery and expense tracking apps. Copy included registration/onboarding flows, push notifications, payment flows, and all other in-app copy.
Established organizational structures and user interface guidelines to ensure copy was aligned with the brand voice and helpful for users at every stage in the customer journey — from consideration to onboarding.
